About Provence Marinaside

Located in Vancouver’s popular downtown neighbourhood of Yaletown, the Provence Marinaside restaurant has become an established and well-recognized brand within its local neighbourhood. The restaurant has consistently been featured in local magazines and newspapers as well as in “Canada’s 100 Best Patios”.  Provence’s critically acclaimed food, friendly upbeat staff and well-placed location create an all around unforgettable dining experience. Owners Jean-Francis and Alessandra Quaglia have been immersed in the fine dining industry their entire lives. Both worked around the world studying under the tutelage of some of the world’s most well respected chefs.

Provence Marinside Challenge

Due to the ramping up of operations and increased numbers of staff, the Quaglia’s sought a workforce management solution that could encompass scheduling, time attendance and payroll. Prior to working with Push Operations, Jean-Francis was specifically frustrated with time consuming process of “calculating statutory holiday [hours] and data transferring employee hours” into the previous workforce management solution. He further explains his disdain for the amount of manual math that had to be done, as one simple data entry mistake could tremendously impact the business. Push Operations provided the Quaglias a unified system that drastically reduced the amount of time spent on tedious and monotonous processes that were required with the previous workforce management system. Jean-Francis emphasized his delight with the integration of the system, and furthermore expressed his pleasure with “having the time clock [being able] to recognize the scheduled time and accounts for earlier starts and rounds back to scheduled time so it saves the restaurant thousands of dollars”.

With Push, I can adapt to my daily labour errors much faster. We have real-time access to sales and labour data and when you compare them instantly, you can make decisions on labour adjustments on the fly.
